Cancellation Policy
Course Format: This is a blended-learning course. You'll complete the cognitive/online portion independently through the American Heart Association's HeartCode BLS platform before your scheduled in-person skills session. Session Location: We come to you — sessions are held at your workplace/facility, home, or at a mutually agreed public location (library meeting room, community center, etc.) Please confirm your session address at the time of booking; a travel fee may apply based on the distance from Snellville, Georgia. A space with enough floor room for hands-on CPR practice is needed — we'll confirm space requirements when scheduling. Before Your Session: Complete the online portion at least 24 hours before your scheduled skills session. Save or print your online completion certificate — you must have proof of completion for your instructor to admit you to the skills check. Registrants without proof of online completion will not be able to participate and will need to reschedule. Day of Session: Your instructor will arrive at the scheduled time — please have your space ready and be available a few minutes early Bring a valid photo ID Wear comfortable clothing suitable for floor-based CPR practice Skills session runs approximately 1-2 hours. Renewal & Certification: Your BLS card is valid for 2 years from the date of completion. We recommend booking your renewal 3-4 weeks before your current card expires. AHA eCards are issued within 1 business day of successful completion. Cancellation & Rescheduling: Reschedule requests require at least 48 hours' notice, since travel time is reserved for your session. Cancellations inside 48 hours or no-shows may forfeit the travel fee and/or session cost. If your instructor needs to reschedule due to travel/weather issues, you'll be notified as early as possible
